About Fulbright Association Global Day of Service
The Global Day of Service on 1 August 2026 is a worldwide call to action led by the Fulbright Association, the independent non-profit U.S. alumni organization of the Fulbright Program.
This global project brings Fulbright alumni, chapters, community partners, and dedicated supporters together to serve their local communities. Created to reflect the heart of the Fulbright Association, this initiative celebrates connection, service, and shared purpose across borders. It invites participants to turn the values of mutual understanding, cultural exchange, and global citizenship into visible action, whether through community projects, food security efforts, shelter support, or other locally driven service activities.
More than a single day of volunteering, the Global Day of Service is a way to show who the Fulbright community is beyond scholarship and achievement: people using their experiences, relationships, and talents to serve others and strengthen communities around the world.
